With less than 2 months left of 2017, now is the time to be setting goals and creating a clear plan for your business in order to start 2018 strong!

I thought it would be a good time to revisit a 3 part series I did earlier this year “What NOT to Focus On In Your Coaching Business (if you actually want to make money!)

The issues discussed in these videos are all common mistakes I often see Coaches, both new and established, making, and guess what – I did them all too!!

As all of our Academy and Mastermind clients know, I am very passionate about helping Coaches avoid these pitfalls, so there may be a bit of ranting in these videos – sorry, not sorry!

PART ONE

These first two tips are robbing so many Coaches of valuable time.

1 Spending too long working on their website and logo. (3:45)

I discuss why this is just not a good use of your time, and when IS the right time to focus on your website and branding.

2 Thinking like a Solopreneur instead of a CEO (23:50)

Here I outline why, if you want to position yourself as an expert in your field and offer high-end Coaching programs, and avoid burnout, you need to avoid “Me do it” syndrome and switch up your mindset.

 

 

PART TWO

Now these 3 tips are big. These are all common pitfalls that I consistently see new and established Coaches falling into, and a big reason why I recommend you invest in a Mentor to help guide you. I am a huge advocate for investing in yourself and your business by having a Mentor, and in all of my years of business, I have always had one.

3 Why you need to stop wanting it more for your client than they want it for themselves. (3:38)

I address why this leads to nothing but depletion and frustration, and how you really are not helping your client.

4 Stop spinning around on your pricing! (12:30)

Again, this one is HUGE, and having a Mentor who has been there before can prove invaluable in helping you set the right pricing and programs for your niche.

5 Stop working on your message in a vacuum. (21:15)

Here I discuss exactly why target market research is critical to your success.

PART THREE

In this final video, not only do I discuss the last 3 tips on what NOT to do in your Coaching business, I also touch on  how my Big Vision Planning program, which is included for free to all of our Academy and Mastermind clients, can help you to get clear on how to move forward to scale your business, reach your income goals, and get you on the road to success faster.

6 Don’t try to be all things to all people – a.k.a. Don’t be afraid to niche down. (3:29)

7 Stop focusing on low ROI activities. (6.25)

Are you spending your time doing the things you THINK you should be doing, or the things that will actually lead to you earning money in your business.

8 Don’t try to skip ahead – focus on the right activities for your stage of business. (12:55)

I address why you need to make sure that you are putting your energy into programs and strategies that are a good fit for the stage of business you are in NOW.
